School Lane Charter School has an opening for a Vice Principal for 7th and 8th grade at our IB campus in Bensalem, PA. 

 

The Vice Principal is responsible for supporting the integration and administration of School Lane Charter School curriculum, culture, and discipline at the IB Campus.  The ideal candidate for this position will act as the mentor to all teaching staff and provide support in effective teaching practices and classroom management.  He/She will promote the building of a culture of caring, inquiry, and life-long learning where students will feel safe to explore their world through thought provoking questions, dynamic discussion, and real world, project-based and problem-based learning scenarios. This position requires significant independent analysis and problem-solving skills, as well as an in-depth working knowledge of diverse teaching strategies, best practices for effective classroom management and full understanding of educational and social development of students in the middle and high school years.  The ideal candidate for this position will have experience in the IB Middle Years and Diploma Programs, Restorative Practices and inquiry-based instruction.
